Falling Behind or Moving Forward..hmmm???

Okay...I'll admit, I've already been neglecting my poor blog. I made such big promises to keep it current. What can I say, what's my excuse? Not enough to say???? HA...in fact, I've had many a funny story that I've let you all miss out on. (SORRY)

Well, truth of the matter is, life is going as hectic as usual, except for maybe me taking on a wee bit more "ME" time. Nooooo.....I haven't been hanging at the salon or shopping with the OTHER SAHMoms. Nooooo....I didn't take off on that oh so desired and much needed carribean vacation...ALONE. I've merely been overwhelmed in "ME" squeezing every single second I find available into working on my designs. The business is finally budding and as exciting as it is for me, I'm also realizing just how tough it is to maintain right now, nevermind once its offically off the ground! And yet, that makes the desire just sooo much greater!

Since my mind is so busy throughout the day, its actually exhausting itself so much that its been letting me sleep REALLY well...which, in turn means less computer time for me, lol. Sorry, y'all, given the choice of sleep or computer, I'll go with SLEEP everytime!!! LOL ;)

So, in pondering whether I've slacked off or advanced forward, I'd have to say....very proudly and loudly..."I'm moving forward!" Things are starting to happen. I've been in concentration mode...(in between Mommy Mode)....and belive it or not, its paying off.

Its all about the Passion I tell ya...the Passion!.......stick with me

Father Time, Whats your beef??

After a bit of a hustle and bustle to get them in the car and ready to go, the kids were on their way to Nanny's house, big sigh of relief, "Ahhhhhh". So much to do, so much to do....where do I start???

The heat in the green house has been quite high lately since hubby is working super extra overtime, which means Mommy is super extra overworked....yes and super duperly underpaid. I've been juggling so many things and yet seems I've gotten a lot of NOTHING done. So, the brave woman that she is, Nanny took the kids for a sleepover so that Mommy here could take full advantage of some free time. I thought I'd focus my time on completing some of my designs, do a little housework (ugh), and end the day relaxing with a good movie.

Well, I tackled a small portion of all I set out to do but in looking back, its all so clear....when the kids left the house, time ESCAPED with them!!! DAG GONE IT!!! No sooner did they leave, I looked up at the clock and it was 9:15 pm. What did I get done in my so called "free" time. Well, not what I expected, which is why I sound so disappointed. Its been a looonnng time since I had a full day alone. I always believe I could get sooo much done if I were alone, but now I know......Father Time is just a mean old man with a sick sense of humor. He's got way too much time on his hands and uses it to torment ME. "Father Time, stop being so stingy and share!!"

Sh*t happens.....literally!!

I debated whether or not I wanted to share the following POOPIE story. Then I remembered the reason why I started this blog...to share my amazing, sometimes outrageous tales, which I usually refer to as STRESS! So here goes **WARNING** those of you with squeamish bellies when it comes to bodily functions I suggest you skip on reading this entry.

So, my day started as it does on any other given day...take the two older kids to school, come back home and enjoy the peace and quite before the two little ones get up and make me REALLY start my day. Sipping my coffee, checking my email, my 4 yr old son stumbles out of bed and demands breakfast. Within minutes he's running to the bathroom and then summoning me to follow, "Mommmmy...I'm DONE!" Ugh...that little phrase has come to irk me to noooo end!!! By the way, its not said as a statement, its sung! Sounds cute right, well its not...not anymore. On my way to the rescue I can't help but think, I've been wiping little backsides for 8 yrs now and still going strong! Does it ever end??

The answer to that question is NO it doesn't end and on days like this, it gets even worse. In the meantime, down strolls my darling little 3 yr old, little miss know it all, ugh, the day officially begins. So, the story goes, my son continued to call me from the bathroom, "Mommmy..!" what seemed to be like every 3 mins! LOL (it wasn't that often, just felt like it) On this particular call, I stop, whatever it is I'm "trying" to do at that moment and go into the bathroom to find poop on the floor in his pants down his legs hanging from the bowl. You name it, it was probably there.....yeahhhh...sounds like fun, right!! And of course, as I'm freaking out, I'm explaining to my son (quite sternly, one might even call it yelling) that he's doing so much poopie because he doesn't eat enough of his dinner. Just thought I might teach him a lesson on better nutrition while he would actually listen and realize not eating your dinner at night might result in pooping your pants continually tomorrow. Listen, don't judge me....in fact, thank me, this may work to your advantage one day, ;)

So I sent the poor, traumatized and somewhat embarrassed boy upstairs to the shower, God knows he NEEDED one after that mess. While he showered, I scrubbed the bathroom with bleach and threw the poopie clothes in the washer. What do you think I hear next??? YEP, "Mommmy...Mommmy!!!" So, I run upstairs to the bathroom and what do I see??? Three, count them....one, two, three...piles of thin, liquidy poop on my hard wood floor outside the bathroom door and my son standing inside the bathroom, soaking wet with drippings of poop down his legs once again!!! Now, I'm trying to figure out this scenario in my head....kid was in the shower....kid got out of the shower, possibly to poop....poop is outside the bathroom....kid is inside the bathroom. URRGGGHHHH!!! I GIVE UP!! Out of the mouth of the 3yr old going on 30...."That's because he don't eat all his dinner, right Mommy."
So, what is the silver lining to this awful day? I was lucky enough not to slip on the poopie piles and fall on my @ss!

Wife, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom...ummm...Blogger??

Hello all, and welcome to my world, or should I say please welcome me to your world...the world of Mommy Bloggers. In case you haven't read my bio, here is a quick run down about me.

I am a Wife and MommyX5...thats right Mommy 5 times over. Although, I am still quite young ;) Belive it or not I have been in the Mommy business for just about 22 years! Popped at the very first little seedling at the tender age of 16, got married 13 years later, and gave birth to 4 more little seedlings within the first 5 years of marriage. Yeah...I've been a little busy...hehehe. Which is exactly what brings me here to the world of mommy bloggers.

Not unlike all you other CRAZY busy Mom's, I seemed to have lost myself somewhere on that windy road we call life. So!!! What's a Mom to do when she's nurturing a handful of seedlings and anxiously awaiting for them to bloom??? Get out there in the virtual world...network and share...because quite frankly, the things that go on in this little green house of ours are just to unbelievable and outrageous to waste on the personal journal sitting in my nightstand draw!!

You know the old "when one door closes another one opens" saying, yeah, well this is always somewhat true in my life...along with the ever soooo hated, revolving door!!! But I have realized that the time has come to open a "window" and let in some new light. AND...no matter how windy and stormy it gets out there, that window is staying OPEN!! Because without an open window, opportunity has no where to go.....well, it might knock on the door...but who knows which door it will be and if I'll be able to get to it in time!!!

Anywaayyy....believe me when I tell you I've got a lot to share. The months ahead promise to reveal some new roads for me, my hubby, and of course the little seedlings. Both expected and unexpected....though I do always prepare to expect the unexpected! But what you can expect from following me is not only constancy but also weekly surprise guest blogs from the little grasshoppers themselves but not to be overshadowed by the recurring, "not just reviews"...from Kelsey, my 8 year old, in her "Korner"....Mommy's little protege. She's got a lot to say and is not afraid to say it. Kelsey is also quite the comedian...she gets her wit from me, of course...(lucky kid!)...hehehe

I hope I've sparked an interest in some of you who took the time to read my short little intro. I'm keeping it short just for today so that I can familiarize myself with everything and get my page up to par with some of My favorite blog reads! Don't be fooled by the lame appearance just yet. Anyone who knows me will confirm that I DO NOT DISAPPOINT. =) My creative mind will just NOT allow it!!

I would love to recieve your feedback and comments and/or funny, similar stories to my own, in future posts of course. I will expand into detail on all the fun, crazy but exciting events going on in this happy little green house of mine. Stay tuned....
